The DAWN Study is evaluating whether an investigational treatment (a treatment not approved for clinical use) reduces facial acne scarring for adults.
People with acne scars may avoid social situations or bright lights because they lack confidence in their appearance, and this can have a negative impact on daily life.
We need clinical research to find safe and effective acne scarring treatments for everyone.
The study involves 14 study visits over the course of about 15 months.
With each round of study treatment, there will be a phone call 3 days later and a study visit 14 days later. The study has 3 periods:
Screening Period (1 month)
Study Treatment Period (3 study treatments, 1 month apart)
Follow-Up Period (12 months)
Approximately 156 people will participate in the study.
